Shropshire Business Partnership is focusing its first quarterly breakfast meeting of the year on the business vision for the next five years.

It is hosting its ‘20:20 Business Vision’ event on Friday 27th February at Shrewsbury Town Football Club, and attendees will be encouraged to look ahead to the year 2020 and re-vision their business.

recruitGuest speakers include Gill Hamer, Director the Marches LEP – and cover story in the new Shropshire Business Today magazine, out later this week, plus Mark Pembleton, Business and Enterprise at Shropshire Council, Steve Williams from Impetus, and Andy Duxbury, Chief Executive at Aaron and Partners.

Paul Bennett, Chair of Shropshire Business Partnership, explained: “Throughout 2014 our quarterly events were focused on the theme of digital and how technological communications is changing the face of the way we do business. So it felt right for the first event of 2015 to turn the spotlight very much on the business planning process, as we look at all that is changing in the social, economic and technology landscapes.”

Tickets to the event cost £20 per person and guests have the opportunity to network with up to 80 other professionals from across the region, as well as enjoy refreshments on arrival, followed by a cooked breakfast at 8am.

“Our dedicated speakers will be presenting on the importance of maintaining and creating 20:20 vision and how businesses can best prepare for future trends, risks and challenges which may lie-ahead. In addition, we’ll be talking about the growing need for businesses to embrace changes, such as increased demands from customers, new technologies, more complex working processes, as well as gaining an edge over competitors to lead the market.

“Naturally, spaces are limited so we’d encourage anyone interested in coming along to visitwww.shropshirebusiness.org and book online, or email info@shropshirebusiness.org for more information,” Paul concluded.
